This interesting postbox is outside Image The plaque says that it commemorates the centenary of Highcliffe on Sea, 1892-1992 – though it does not state categorically whether the postbox was there beforehand, merely without the plaque.

Highcliffe, The Globe
Typical busy roadside pub/restaurant owned by public house company, on Lymington Road. Externally, recently renovated: grey paint; traditional pub sign replaced by verbal one. Neither has in my opinion enhanced its appearance. Internally, light wood beams & floors, angled bar, lots of alcoves for eating & drinking.
