Three Legged Cross: Joys Road
This short residential road connects Church Road to Verwood Road, which latter two run parallel for about ½ mile before joining further north. Today it was ablaze with an autumnal yellow.

Three Legged Cross: small lawn by Church Road
The pavement of Church Road is separated from the latter by a small hedge for a short distance here, as it runs alongside this pleasant lawn. The central tree shows off its autumn colour.

The fact that this is Church Road suggests – correctly – that there has been a church here for longer than the age of this modern building. A previous tin church had become derelict many decades ago and this is the modern permanent replacement.
