Hamworthy: postbox № BH16 257, Turlin Road
This Elizabeth II-reign postbox serves the eastern part of the Turlin Moor council estate, and is emptied finally at 5:30pm on weekdays and at 11:15am on Saturdays.

Railway bridges at Hamworthy
Exactly 46 years separates the construction of these two railway bridges over Blandford Road. The one in the foreground, now disused, opened on 1st June 1847 by the Southampton & Dorchester Railway. The one in the background, which now carries the current London to Weymouth mainline, was opened on 1st June 1893 by the London & South Western Railway.

Railway Bridges, Blandford Rd
The front bridge is on the Poole to Dorchester and is still in use but the further away bridge was part of a now dismantled line that ran through Broadstone and then branched going on to either Wimborne Minster or Blandford.

The Hamworthy goods line
Viewed 'over the fence' at Hamworthy station. The line appears to be now disused, but a 2017 report said that a regular weekly service had restarted along the branch.
