This George VI-reign postbox stands by the large mini-roundabout at the junction of Oakdale Road, and is emptied finally at 5:30pm on weekdays and at 12:30pm on Saturdays.

These are quite old farm stables and barns situated quite incongruously in the heart of residential Poole. They are situated behind an old house that fronts Fernside Rd at the junction with Seliot Road.

Oakdale, Lady Wimborne Cottages
On Fernside Road, at the junction with Wimborne Road, three pairs of cottages (with modern infill) built in a distinctive style as estate cottages by Lady Wimborne and her daughter, between 1867 and 1904. 111 of the model cottages are thought to have been built for Canford Estate workers. http://archive.dorsetecho.co.uk/2000/11/6/109091.html
