Cross beside the Seldown Bridge underpass, Poole
The cross was created to mark the 50th anniversary of VE-day. The pebbles in the cross came from Poole, Cherbourg and Germany. The inscription below the cross records that it was made by Churches Together in Poole and Groupe Interconfessional Cherbourg, "symbolising the building of peace so much needed in our day."

Poole Park, lodge
Park-keeper's house at Kingland Road entrance. The house is dated 1888; a plaque records the opening of the park by the Prince of Wales in 1890. Pedestrian tunnel under railway line, south of Poole Park
A convenient link from the park to Baiter and Parkstone Bay. Cycling is (officially) banned, but the alternative for cyclists is to divert to the eastern edge of the park.
