This pub has been closed for some time. Shown back in 2009 Image in use as an art museum, which is no longer here. There is a newer logo "Q□□G" on the door, but whatever that was has gone too. It's also been The Ginger Pop Shop Image The place is currently up for sale advertized for restaurant use. Defending Dorset in 1940: the Maiden Newton - Poole Harbour Stop Line (86)
- Pillbox (unclassified): DoB ID: e24909 Poole - Poole Quay Pillbox. Of unknown type, this is the closest view I could get without trespassing and getting torn to shreds by a sea of brambles! It sits behind a wall on a derelict patch of land behind Poole Quay and appears to be built mainly of concrete. It has parallel brick-built entrance walls containing steps down to a protected entrance doorway. The steps cannot be seen however as apart from the brambles, they are currently hidden under a quantity of soil between the walls. Image
