Poole: Twin Sails Bridge Approach
The Twin Sails Bridge, the new lifting bridge over the channel into Holes Bay which will work in conjunction with the existing Poole Bridge, opened today for pedestrians. It was due to open to vehicles this coming Monday but that has been delayed for a short time.
Here we look along the road which has been appropriately named Twin Sails Bridge Approach, although traffic in this lane will be leaving rather than approaching the bridge, heading into the town centre.

Poole, Quay West Marina buildings.
Off West Quay Road; according to signage, the buildings comprise ship brokers, Chinese restaurant, dance studio, watersports centre, snooker club and bar; given the derelict-looking appearance of the buildings, it is difficult to know whether they still function. Perhaps a victim to planning blight from the neighbouring site, Image?
