Poole, The Slug and Lettuce
Pub/bar at the corner of High and Castle Streets; formerly the Hogshead. Straight back bar, with eating and drinking areas left, front and right. Neutral colours, differing sorts of seating, games machines, video, background music. Cask ales on offer at my visit: Sharp's Doom Bar, Wells Bombardier. Poole: postbox № BH15 28, Old Orchard
Looking north along the pedestrianised section of the High Street, from the crossroads with Old Orchard. The postbox is emptied finally at 6:30pm on weekdays and at 12:30pm on Saturdays.
