Derelict House, Sandbanks
The rest of the sandspit of Sandbanks is covered with tightly packed luxury houses that cost up to £20 million, but for some reason this plot has a derelict house on it. The value of the plot alone is probably several million pounds

Footpath to Nowhere
This footpath runs from Panorama Rd 100m to the foreshore. When the tide is in the water reaches the end of the path and none of the shore is accessible. So unless you want to paddle you just have to turn round and come back.

Sandbanks: footpath № 82 to the shore
This must be one of the most disappointing paths anywhere. One would optimistically think that it might lead to a pleasant shoreline walk, but in fact it comes out on a narrow stretch of the Poole Harbour shoreline, not much wider than the path itself, between two well-fenced marinas. A dog-shaped sign on the left tells dog owners to pick up after their dogs, because children use this path too.
