Quite a substantial shelter able to hold a large number of people. Due to soil erosion over the years its concrete tubular construction in the main body of the shelter can clearly be seen. The square section on the end to the right would have had an emergency exit.

Canford Cliffs: the post office and postbox № BH13 251
The post office is housed within a newsagents that used to be a parfumerie (which even then contained the post office), on the main shopping area in Haven Road. The postbox is a large, Elizabeth II-reign one.

Canford Cliffs: telephone exchange
One feels that such a building would stick out like a sore thumb along the main shopping area of Canford Cliffs, but somehow it blends in fairly inconspicuously.
