Shapla Community Hall, Manningham
It is no surprise in this part of Bradford to find a Bangladeshi community association. But this building was formerly St Aidan's (Church of England) mission hall, built in 1897, and it is still rare to find former churches sold to Muslim groups. See also Image

I had come to this street for another reason, and was surprised to see the Bradford City stadium dominating the scene as I turned into the south end of the terrace - I had not realised it was so close.
