NW parapet of Station Road bridge over Long Preston Station
Ordnance Survey documents indicate that a benchmark was levelled at 149.036m above Newlyn Datum in 1960 and verified in 1968 on the near end of the parapet. It appears the parapet has been shortened to provide a wider entrance to the station with loss of the benchmark

Long Preston railway station, Yorkshire
