Occupation crossing and signal
Level crossing from Haw Lane to a farm track on the other side of the line. The semaphore signal is 'off' (arm at 45 degrees) to allow a train from Skipton to pass. Sheep graze on Hellifield Haw hill in the background.

Nearing a footcrossing
The diesel hauled leg of the 'Hadrian' railtour running towards Hellifield. Steam took over for the trip to Carlisle and York. The line has a mix of colour and semaphore signals.
