Foxcroft Row
Looking from the Old Hall and rising above Foxcoft Row on Church Street is the turret and the chimney of Carleton Mill. Originally built as a cotton mill in 1861 Carleton Mill has had various uses over the years, including for the manufacture of aircraft parts during World War II, for making textiles and for producing carpets.
