Carleton Mill
From Wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carleton,_North_Yorkshire -- "Carleton Mill dates back to 1861 when it was originally built for spinning cotton, the mill later housed a mail-order business throughout the 1930s. During the second world war the company Rover worked at the building to produce aircraft parts. Shortly after, the mill returned to its original use as a textile factory and later would produce carpets, eventually closing down in November 1999. It was recently converted into apartments."

Mill, Carleton
Former cotton mill built in 1861 with an octagonal chimney. A good survival, right in the middle of the village, which could almost pass for a very plain terrace. Grade II listed. Now flats.
