Bridge 181, Leeds and Liverpool canal, Skipton
The swing bridge is viewed facing south-east in the direction of Leeds. The canal is 127 miles long making it the longest in northern England. As with all such waterways its original purpose was the transport of goods which this canal did until the 1960s. It is now used as a leisure resource.
