Park Street, Haworth
A tiny side street off Station Road in Haworth. One would guess that the grass area might once have been cobbled with washing lines strung across between the terraced houses. This is part of 'new' Haworth, developed in the 19th century around the worsted mills. This street, along with Station Road doesn't exist on the 1852 map, but is shown on that of 1892.

Chaplin's Bistro, Oak Street , Haworth
This rather plain building was originally a Brewery and the houses surrounding the Brewery Yard were for the workers. It then became The Haworth Cycling Club. In 1994 two local business men bought it and it became HC's The Haworth Club, then on November 21st 1997 it became Chaplin's Bistro. The entrance is on the left side.

Keighley & Worth Valley Railway - Haworth workshops
A guided tour during the spring steam gala. This was for a £5 donation and was worth it for a behind the scenes tour. Locomotive No. 75078 is a BR standard class 4MT 4-6-0. It was built in 1956 as one of a class of 80. It has been a stalwart of the KWVR for almost 20 years and was last returned to service in 2015. It was in the 'works' for investigation of an inexplicable superheater problem that has resulted in an expensive appetite (I can't remember if it was for elements or superheater flue tubes - suspect the former). Hopefully it will soon be back in action.
