St Gabriel's Anglican Mission Church, Stanbury
The village church was built in 1848 as a chapel of ease for villagers who could not easily get to Haworth Parish Church (Image]). It was the responsibility of Patrick Brontë’s curate Arthur Bell Nicholls, who later married Charlotte Brontë.
The chapel was renamed "St Gabriel's" in 1998, to celebrate its 150th anniversary.
