Former Yorkshire Penny Bank, Cleckheaton
The branch existed in 1916, but early 20C 1:2500 maps do not show this Italianate building. A square block of four, perhaps cottages, was shown here and the bank was probably in the building to the right, which is still part of the branch. It is, surprisingly, not a listed building.

Former Midland Bank, Cleckheaton
This was built in 1890, at the same time as the Town Hall to the right. It became a HSBC branch, and is now closed. A large tree has grown between the two buildings.

Cleckheaton Town Hall
The future use of this building is uncertain, as the council staff working in it are to be moved to Dewsbury. This view is over a small park, possibly temporary, made on what was a derelict site.

Cleckheaton Town Hall, tower with weathervane
Dated 21 June 1890. I would be interested to know if the silver fox has any significance - Fox is a common surname in the West Riding, and especially the Dewsbury area, so it may be a reference to an influential individual.
