46 Peckover Street, Bradford
An impressive structure built as warehousing and offices for Heugh, Dunlop & Co. It injects a unique touch of the Scottish Baronial into Bradford's warehouse district - see the corbelled turrets. By George Corson, 1870-71. Grade II listed. Converted to offices, but apparently empty at the time and for sale.

Aka Caspian House. By Milnes & France, 1873, for Delius & Co, textile merchants. Intricate carved detail above the door (Image]), and fine wrought-iron grilles (Image]). Grade II listed. Now offices. A plaque records that it was restored in 2003 with the financial assistance of Regen 2000 and the Little Germany Urban Village Co.

Chapel Street
Looking down Chapel Street towards Leeds Road. The street crossing in front of me is Peckover Street. In the heart of Little Germany, this area is now mainly offices and apartment conversions.

38-40 Chapel Street, Bradford
A pair of warehouses by Andrews & Delauney. No. 40, on the corner, dates from 1860, the larger no. 38 from 1871. Both have similar decorative entrances (Image]). Grade II listed. Both seemingly converted to flats - hence the modern intrusions.
