Clayton - Trolley-bus on route 37
This was taken in 1972 when trolley buses were phased out in Bradford. There was a split in route 37 at this point as some buses turned on the left hand wires and continued to the top of the Avenue.

Bus at Clayton Town End
One of First West Yorkshire's Volvo B7TL/Alexander ALX400 double deckers lays over at Clayton Town End before heading across Bradford to Bradford Moor. Most of the time, the 637 finishes here, and turns using a roundabout immediately behind the photographer, but during the evening and on Sundays it continues to Image in common with the 636. The 636 has a direct route out of Clayton towards Bradford, while the 637 serves the back streets of Clayton to the south, meaning that it takes the same time to get here as the 636 takes to go through to the far end of The Avenue.
