La Plata House, Sunbridge Road, Bradford
Aka Standard Buildings. Built of brown and red sandstone, underneath which is a steel frame. Originally offices and showrooms, hence the large arched display windows. Built 1914. Grade II listed. The right-hand section was occupied by Chalks snooker club, but in general the building looked under-used. A view from 1972: Image
