Development site in Adwalton
What was still actively farmed land five years earlier Image has now been acquired for development. Leeds planning application 16/07987/OT allows for up to 208 dwellings on this roughly 7 hectare site. There had been local opposition to the building of so many houses on a greenfield site. The site was referred to at planning stage as "Pitty Close Farm" (who presumably owned the site previously) but the developer may give it another, more aspirational name.

Pre-development work in Adwalton
What was still actively farmed land five years earlier Image has now been acquired for development. Leeds planning application 16/07987/OT allows for up to 208 dwellings on this roughly 7 hectare site. There had been local opposition to the building of so many houses on a greenfield site. Certain areas of the field have had topsoil stripped, possibly for archaeological investigations ahead of construction. The site was referred to at planning stage as "Pitty Close Farm" (who presumably owned the site previously) but the developer may give it another, more aspirational name.
