Cleared land by the canal
Just after the A682 Lindred Bridge, there is a long strip of land up to Alder House that appears to be recently developed. The canal is the Leeds & Liverpool.

Linedred Bridge 139, Leeds and Liverpool Canal
There was a Linedred Bridge here when the canal was first built, but then it was crossed by a mere farm track to Linedred Farm. The present bridge of the same name now carries the short link from the A56 to the M65 motorway, so is very busy. This view is looking north.
