Station Hotel, Nelson, Lancashire
Very large public house and sometime hotel in the centre of Nelson. difficult to photograph owing to the construction work in the foreground of a modern transport interchange. Sensibly, Lancashire County Council have an ongoing positive and supportive attitude to public transport.

Nelson Star Cycling Club
At the junction of Manchester Road and Lomeshaye Road. This is one of the very oldest cycling clubs in England, and one of the very few that have their own permanent premises.
