This short terrace is the totality of the houses on Collingwood Street, these modern houses (numbered 2 to 16 evens) having replaced older property. There were formerly many more houses on Collingwood Street, including back-to-backs on the other side of the road. All this older property has now been cleared.

Colne: Greenfield Road
Greenfield Road runs west from the A56 and looks like a tempting way of getting onto the motorway, but any drivers so tempted will find that they have to turn left at the far end, into Phillips Lane, and will soon find themselves back on the A56.
