Colne: A long view on a bright May morning
The First of May was a glorious sunny day, although windy. This view is taken looking northwards from just north of the Town Centre. The two long terraces are Langroyd Road and Townley Street.

Looking north from Windsor Street. The tidy-minded city fathers of yesteryear named this street in the expectation that, one day, it would be linked as a through road with Oxford Street near town centre. It never happened.
