Colne: A long view on a bright May morning
The First of May was a glorious sunny day, although windy. This view is taken looking northwards from just north of the Town Centre. The two long terraces are Langroyd Road and Townley Street.

Colne: New Oxford Street
Looking north from Windsor Street. The tidy-minded city fathers of yesteryear named this street in the expectation that, one day, it would be linked as a through road with Oxford Street near town centre. It never happened.

Colne: Windsor Street
Looking west from the Skipton Road roundabout. As part of the A6068, unofficially known as the Colne Bypass, Windsor Street is very busy with continuous traffic, much of it through traffic intent on linking the M65 in Lancashire with Yorkshire's Aire Valley.
