Foulridge, Lancashire: Old quarry
This small gritstone quarry is not named on any map that I have seen. It is marked on the first edition six-inch map in virtually its present state, and has probably not been worked for over 200 years - quite likely its last use was for stone for the Leeds and Liverpool Canal.
