Slipper Hill Reservoir
The water level in this reservoir is more than 2 metres below normal. The reservoir is used to supply water to the Leeds-Liverpool Canal, maintaining the water levels when the locks operate. The canal has been closed to navigation in the Summer of 2010 due to the lack of water.

Metalled access off Reedymoor Lane
This little lane is now only accessible for pedestrians, cycles and horses. It runs from Foulridge Lower Reservoir towards the Leeds Liverpool Canal at the western end of the tunnel.

Foulridge Tunnel air shaft
The tunnel is along the Leeds and Liverpool Canal, it is 1630 yards in length and was opened 3 May 1796.
