Bold Venture Cottages, Chatburn
Built as an integral part of the Bold Venture Lime Works. Being immediately adjacent to the kilns which were just to the right http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/4480203 , living conditions would not have been ideal. The separate house at the end was possible the mine managers house, and includes a clock in the gable, dated 1850.
