Langho Railway Station
The original railway station at Langho was closed by British Railways on 5 May 1956. The station was re-built in a more modest form and re-opened on 29 May 1994, when regular passenger trains were re-introduced between Clitheroe, Blackburn and Manchester. The railway track here is on a significant downhill gradient of 1-in-82, heading for the long viaduct over the River Calder at Whalley. The distinctive outline of Pendle Hill is visible on the skyline.

Langho railway station, Lancashire
Opened in 1850 on the Lancashire & Yorkshire Railway's line from Blackburn to Hellifield, this station closed to passengers in 1956. It was rebuilt and reopened in 1994. View south west towards Wilpshire and Blackburn. The original station platforms were opposite each other at this point. The new houses on the left appear to have blocked the rebuilding of the southbound platform in its original position, hence the need for it be resited.
