Folly Clough
On my way from Bottomley Bank Lane over to Goodshaw Chapel, I came across this pretty section of Folly Clough and wish I could attach a sound recording of the water playing along towards the little tunnel and the accompanying birdsong.

From Bottomley Bank Farm to Crawshawbooth
This is one of the happiest walks I have taken, it being the first day of my Christmas holiday last year (2011); the sun also came out to celebrate. I am standing at the top of Bottomley Bank Lane drinking in the view before proceeding upwards to Swinshaw Moor.

The White Bull : Crawshawbooth
The White Bull, Crawshawbooth, is over 200 years old and was a 'bus stop' for the horse-drawn buses which used to run between Rawtenstall and Burnley. The landlord is using the world cup to attract custom, which must have worked for him during the USA/Ghana match, where the first goal came after 32 seconds !
