Longholme Methodist Church, Rawtenstall
Situated off Bacup Road in Rawtenstall town centre, this Grade 2 listed building dates from March 1842, and is one of seven churches in the Rossendale Methodist Circuit. The present church was altered in the early 1960s with the organ and pulpit removed and the gallery space filled in, which enabled the church to be moved onto the upper level and the lower level turned into a general use area. The present church re-opened in this form in April 1962.
