Memorial Stone and Seat in Mary's Wood
Mary Hodbod, formerly of Holden Hall Farm died in 1988 at the age of 46. The wood was planted, in her memory, by her husband Anthony Hodbod, with assistance from volunteer and community groups. Grane Residents Association provided the seat. The path through the wood is on the route of the ancient pack horse trail from Blackburn to Haslingden.
