Grane Mill - steam engine
Grane was a typical Lancashire weaving shed powered by the archetypal medium sized cross compound mill engine built in 1907 by SS Stott, just up the road in Haslingden. This is the Corliss valve high pressure cylinder with the governor alongside the flywheel. David Arnfield has been restoring this with a little help from his friends for several years.
