Former mill, Darwen
This is presumed to be a reused small textile mill of some description with a square stone chimney. Across the road is the monumental India Mill chimney. I would welcome any further information about this small works.

Preserved outside the massive India mills complex with its famous chimney.
And for scale see Image
Built 1905, commissioned in May 1906 driving 1224 looms plus a DC generator. Usually 75 RPM. Ceased working in 1970.
Corliss valves with inlet/outlet valves visible, next to the LP cylinder.
