Darwen - Optician on The Circus
This was formerly the Liverpool and District Bank (see http://www.cottontown.org/Transport/Trams/Pages/Tickets-please-for-Darwen.aspx ). The domed building to the left of the optician's was formerly a tram waiting room.

A Pair of Tram Waiting Rooms.
Opened in 1902 these rooms have been arranged along with a memorial to the local soldiers killed in the Boer War,the rooms are now used shops.
