Proposed Polyphemus Woodland Trust planting area
This area is due to be planted as woodland, starting November 2005. The land was bequeathed to the Woodland Trust some years ago by a local farmer, Tom Bailey. The name 'Polyphemus' is the name of one of Nelson's ships at Trafalgar.

The footpath predated the development each side. Bikes have also used this path but their tracks are obscured by the shadow of the fence.
