Jack Walker Stand, Ewood Park
The main stand at Ewood Park is named after the late Jack Walker, the millionaire chairman, owner and benefactor who helped to transform the fortunes of Blackburn Rovers FC in the 1990s. It is fitting that the stand should be named in his honour as it probably true to say that Ewood Park would not be the magnificent stadium it is today without his contributions to the club. This obituary http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/885534.stm (BBC Sport) discusses Jack Walker's contrbution and influence at Blackburn Rovers.
