The only bit that's left
The only building which remains of Blackburn Royal Infirmary. They even demolished the original building which stood to the left of picture. It is proposed to convert the building to apartments and build houses on the rest of the site

The demise of Blackburn Royal Infirmary
Redundant after the building of the huge extension at Queens Park Hospital the old infirmary has been sold to be redeveloped as housing, most of the hospital is to be demolished except for the old children's wards which are to converted into apartments.
