A branch of Lloyds on the corner of Church Street and Higher Church Street. It is possibly dated 1878 but I've been unable to verify the source of that information.

The Woven Globe
In the middle of the square at the top of Church Street is the Woven Globe. The Woven Globe was installed to commemorate the millennium. Artist Sebastian Boysten's stone and bronze sculpture sits at the top of Church Street. The globe is twinned with a similar piece in Darwen town centre and celebrates the industrial heritage of the region.
