The plaque on the wall commemorates an 'Improvement scheme' but unfortunately doesn't mention a date, so I've no idea how long it took to look this good!

Darussalam Education Centre, Blackburn
According to their website http://dec-blackburn.org.uk/ this is a masjid and education centre, mainly for Muslim women. The building seems to have been recently extended in an architectural style similar to the older building behind, formerly a pub called the Seven Trees Image
