Earby: Earby Beck
Earby Beck flows through the middle of the town, for much of its length alongside Water Street. Quite a bit of the beck has been covered over, and in other places there are small footbridges. Here the beck is seen looking downstream as it passes some industrial premises.

Earby Bus Station
Earby does not have a very large bus station but it is accorded the appropriate symbol on the OS map. Here is seen a bus on a long route, the 743 from Skipton to Manchester. The use of comfortable coach-bodied saloons has added to the popularity of this route, which by 2007 had metamorphosed into the X43, now operating via the M66 motorway, but sadly not serving Earby as its northern terminus has been cut back to Nelson.

Earby bus station
It is not very usual to see more than one bus here at the same time, but four altogether is almost unprecedented!
