The 'Barlick', Barnoldswick
The 'Barlick', which used to be The 'Commercial', stands on Church Street in the centre of the town. It is a lively and popular pub, especially patronised by the younger end of the spectrum of drinkers. 'Barlick' is the local shortened form of the name of the town, whose inhabitants think of themselves as 'Barlickers' - and, if they are over about 40, as Yorkshiremen too.
