Cycle path following route of former railway
The Padiham Greenway approaching the bridge across Park Road. Behind the camera is the fenced off viaduct that took the cycle path over the River Calder but is closed due to structural issues.

Bridges over the River Calder
The low bridge is a footbridge which connects the two parts of Padiham Memorial Park together. The stone bridge use to carry the railway to Padiham Power Station (Coal) and on to Great Harwood and Rishton.

Burnley Way crossing the River Calder
Footbridge that links Memorial Park, which is located on both sides of the river. The former railway bridge that once linked Burnley and Blackburn via the Great Harwood Loop, towers above and runs parallel to the footbridge.

Disused railway
In fact it is only about 50m long, it is all what remains of the railway which was used to bring coal the Padiham Power Station, which has long gone (1980s?)
