The former Primitive Methodist Chapel on Lowerhouse Lane carries a datestone indication that it was built in 1905. The building now houses the Rosegrove Library.

Bridge 126A, Leeds and Liverpool Canal
Dugdale Bridge. Carries Lowerhouse Lane over the canal. It's fairly clear that the cobbled ramp up from the towpath predates the concrete-arched bridge.
There used to be a pipe across on this side of the bridge. It was removed after a tragic accident in 2014, when an 11 year old boy died after falling from it.
