331, Audley Range
Sharp eyed observers will notice a blue plaque between the front door and ground floor window of No 331. This is the birthplace of A. Wainwright, famous for his enduring pen and ink guides to the Lake District and elsewhere. The grandfather of all fellwalkers and grumpy men, whose life started here in this humble dwelling in Blackburn. Image]
