Just Swanning Along In Blackburn [1]
This young Swan waddled along a Blackburn bus lane without a care in the world. He/She had just attempted a landing on the frozen canal and missed the unfrozen water under the nearby bridge, ruffling ones feathers ! After this mishap he/she took a walk on the wild side and caused a bit of chaos by holding up the traffic, particularly with the Accrington bound bus seen here. I gently persuaded this wonderful child of nature to let city life continue on its blind struggle to nowhere. So the Swan obliged by waddling on to the grass seen here on the right, then made a spectacular display of a take off from the grass runway like a Lancaster bomber astounding everyone as he/she flew above the main road under lamppost height.

Then made a spectacular display of a take off from this green runway like a Lancaster bomber, astounding everyone as he/she flew above the main road under lamppost height.
