Stone Cobble Setts Exposed - Blackburn Lancashire
In a Beatles song the lyrics say '4000 (or is it 10,000? - feels more like the latter!) holes in Blackburn Lancashire'. Well I don't think this specific road resurfacing is being done because of the recent snows and freezing conditions. But the aftermath of the arctic spell certainly gets those Beatles lyrics going in ones head as you bump/thud and try to avoid the myriad of potholes in the roads of Blackburn Lancashire ! Note the old cobble setts the machine has exposed on Lower Audley Street, the A679.
